DTN Market Headlines
May corn is up 5 3/4 cents per bushel, May soybeans are up 2 1/4 cents, and May KC wheat is up 3/4 cent.
Cattle just could not get it going Thursday as the market seems to be in more of a bearish grip. Traders have not yet felt confident to buy the break as underlying cash does not support it. Hogs futures are holding well, but the market may be getting tired. This is indicated by futures moving somewhat sideways over the past week.
